Hi there! Check out my
review on Lenovo A7000 smartphone. I got my new Lenovo A7000
smartphone last month. The phone is handy with 5.5 inch 720x1280 display. It is
powered by 1.5GHz octa-core processor. First I’ll discuss about pros of this
phone.
Pros: The Design is good and
is light weight of 140g with 8mm thickness. Dolby Atmos feature is tempting
for these genres of phones. For this we thank to Lenovo. Coming to camera, it
comes up with dual camera with 8MP rear with dual LED flash and 5MP front
camera. There is no flash in front which is bit disappointing for selfie
lovers. The front camera is not bad but to improve the effectiveness you need
to add beauty shot. We can record 1080p video. RAM is 2GB and internal is 8GB
in which 3GB is occupied by OS. Lenovo provides OTA updates but I can’t
guarantee that you may get Android M 6.0 or not. I’m checking my updates
regularly. Currently it is running under Android 5.0. As Lenovo provides
firmware updates as well but I’m looking for Marshmallow update. The processor
is made 1.5GHz by MediaTek. It provides good gaming experience. I’m playing
real racing 3 game in my phone. It didn’t stuck at all even a sec when I was
playing. But when I play smash hit, it stuck for a moment which affecting
gaming experience. Sensors and LED notifications are good. It is multi touch
and supports up to 5 fingers. It supports OTG cable too. The phone supports 4G
LTE band in India.
Apart from pros there
are some cons which drag its position little down.
Cons: Coming to cons of this
mobile, the display is not strong enough to resist from scratches. So guys
handle it carefully else it may cost you. Use tempered glass to add strength to
the display. The battery is Li-Po with 2900mAh capacity. It gets heat up easily
and the battery life is disappointing. Low light photography is poor. Speakers
are too low. The earphones provided by Lenovo are not good. Internal memory is
8GB in which approximately 3GB is occupied by OS itself and remaining by apps.
There is no more leftover memory for our usage. It is good if its internal
space is increased to 16GB. The second sim is 2G supporting. But Lenovo K3 note
supports 3G for its second sim too. This is the major difference between Lenovo
A7000 and K3 note. The vibe UI is not impressive.
Finally it is a best
budget phone under 10K. That’s up to now. If any queries, ask in the comment
section.
